Vbank which is also known as VFD Bank is digital banking that allows you to enjoy a streamlined digital and mobile banking experience, with ease of access to your accounts, swift and secure transfers, withdrawals, and bill payments.

Vbank Short Code or USSD Banking

The V bank USSD or shortcode as many call it was created as an easy channel to the V Bank app to make financial services available to customers whether they have access to internet data or not.

For You to use the Vbank USSD banking, You would require a 4-digit PIN to complete your 5037 transactions.

How To to start:

Dial *5037*9#

  1. Create PIN
  2. Change PIN
  3. Reset PIN

For Self Top-up Airtime
Simply dial *5037*1*amount# on your phone (e.g., *5037*1*1000#) to buy airtime.
To Top-up Airtime for a Friend
To send airtime to a third party or to a friend, simply dial *5037*2*Amount*Recipient’s phone number# (e.g., *5037*2*1000*08023456789#)
For Self & Third (3rd) Party Data Top-up
Simply dial *5037*4# on your phone and follow the on-screen prompts.

How to Transfer to VBank Account.

Dial *5037*5*Amount*NUBAN Account Number# (e.g., *5037*5*1000*1234567890#) from the phone number you registered with VBank, then follow the on-screen prompts.

How to Transfer to other Banks

Dial *5037*6*Amount*NUBAN Account Number# (e.g., *5037*6*1000*1234567890#) from the phone number, then authenticate the transfer with the transaction PIN created.

Cardless Withdrawal – Withdraw Cash without your Debit Card

You can use this feature by following the steps below

  • Dial the Cardless withdrawal menu on USSD (*5037*8#)
  • Select either ATM or POS
  • Select either Self or 3rd Party
  • Enter withdrawal amount
  • Enter a temporary 4-digit withdrawal PIN
  • Enter a 4-digit USSD transaction PIN
  • Once completed, your withdrawal details will be displayed on your mobile phone and can also be sent to you as an SMS

Please note that the code is valid for 24 hours and can only be used once.

At the ATM, follow the steps below to withdraw your cash

  • Select Cardless Withdrawal or Paycode from the ATM
  • Follow the prompt to input the one-time withdrawal code, withdrawal amount, and your one-time withdrawal PIN
  • The ATM will dispense cash to you
